I am Wilmer G Rizalde, an IT professional who is multilingual and has a great passion for technology with an interest in continuous learning. Born in the Philippines but now living in Las Vegas, NV, I have started my diverse and rewarding journey in the world of information technology.
Born in the vibrant city of Batac, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. I had the privilege of receiving a solid education that laid the foundation for my future endeavors. I pursued my undergraduate studies, a bachelor's in Architectural Studies, at Divine Word College, where both my analytical and creative thinking were cultivated. My education continued, and I entered into the IT field; I gained valued insight and practical knowledge from Subase Submarine School, Groton, CT, and currently pursuing Information Technology from DeVry University, Las Vegas.
My professional journey took an exciting turn when I joined the elite US Navy as a Submarine IT specialist. I was responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining advanced information systems in this role and demonstrated my knack for problem-solving and commitment to cybersecurity. I dedicated myself to this environment, working together with the Navy's key departments and those of the Department of Defense in implementing best practices in order to keep the IT and telecommunication systems purring.
Apart from professional pursuits, I am a great believer in perpetual self-improvement. A multilingual in languages like Tagalog, Ilocano, and English, I take pride in multiculturalism and thus believe in the importance of communication. My technological proficiencies include Windows and Linux administration, network management, cloud computing, and so much more.
Throughout my professional life, I have established a reputation as self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-oriented. My experience in troubleshooting, data recovery, and IT infrastructure management has enabled me to guarantee the security and reliability of systems under my charge. The mentoring of junior staff, contributing to the software development life cycle, and adapting to the ever-changing face of information technology are what I pride myself on.
Currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science, focus in Cyber Security at DeVry University, I look forward to going deep into the concept of cyber security applied in networking, cloud technology, and virtualization. My goal is how I can enhance my knowledge in the Information Technology sector where I can apply both my technical skills, problem-solving, and customer service in this advancing technology. I am committed to staying at the forefront of IT innovations, and I am ready to contribute significantly to this field.

Has experience in WinServer 2008, WinServer 2012 R2, WinServer 2016, WinServer 2019, and Windows Server 2022.These include implementation of virtualization in Hyper-V, dedicated DNS Server, DHCP, Active Directory, Backup Server, and etc.
